What is the TikTok Creator Fund?
The TikTok Creator Fund is a $200 million cash fund, growing to $1 billion over the next three years, with the purpose of rewarding creators for creating original, entertaining, and engaging TikTok content.
The TikTok Creator Fund allows regular people to make money through their own creativity and ingenuity through TikTok.
Who is Eligible to Join the TikTok Creator Fund?
TikTok creators who meet the following criteria are eligible to apply to the Creator Fund:
- Be based in the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain or Italy
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have at least 10,000 followers on TikTok
- Have at least 100,000 cumulative TikTok video views in the last 30 days
- Have an account that fits with TikTok’s Community Guidelines and terms of service
How to Apply for the TikTok Creator Fund?
If you meet all of the eligibility requirements for the creator fund, you can apply within the TikTok app by opening your account settings, clicking “Creator tools,” and then “TikTok Creator Fund.”
How Much Can I Make from the TikTok Creator Fund?
TikTok states that “a number of factors influence how funds are calculated for videos under the program. These elements include video views, video engagement, as well as ensuring the videos adhere to the Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.”
While the TikTok Creator Fund does not have a set payout amount and varies from creator to creator, a general rule of thumb based on feedback from hundreds of creators is that TikTok pays between 2 and 4 cents for every thousand views.
How Do I Check TikTok Creator Fund Earnings?
Estimated funds should appear in your Creator Fund Dashboard approximately three days after the day in which video views were accrued. To access your Creator Fund Dashboard, first go to your profile and select “…” to open your settings. From there, tap “Creator tools” and then “TikTok Creator Fund”.
You can withdraw funds ($10 minimum) 30 days after the month ends in which they were accrued and transfer to your preferred payment method (PayPal or Zelle).
